WELCOME!

The Sebastopol Cookie Company was founded in 1984 in Mendocino, CA (as the Mendocino Cookie Company) and moved to Sebastopol, CA several years later where it took on its current name.  Current owners Bronwen Shears and husband Dave MacNab bought the business in 2020 with the idea of preserving the traditions of a beloved local bakery, while keeping an eye toward the future. 

Bronwen grew up in Sebastopol, where she met Dave and raised their family.  They are deeply tied to the community and support it by employing local youth, donating to local schools and organizations, and using local ingredients whenever possible.  Fostering a sense of community open to all is important to us, and it simply makes everything taste better!
